This is another long video, but it's got an interesting soundtrack to keep you curious. Whoever said it's a dumb idea to take a camera/tripod with you on a run up and down a mountain was dead right.

A Visit from Sid & Nancy.

My friend Adam (Matt) Jones and his girlfriend Alana came to visit. We had a lovely nature walk (not pictured), and then a raucous evening of drinking and Dictionary Pictionary.

I realized, late in the game, that since I could adopt any sleep schedule I want while I'm here, I should really aim to wake up right before sunrise. So ... this is me trying to drink myself asleep by 9pm.

I show off one of the more ambitious meals I've ever created. I have unknowingly become the Top Chef.

God & Satan fight over Big Bear.

This is a little diary of another Fun Run I took. There was a storm front moving in just west of me, and it made for some spectacular looking skies. Of course, there's no way you'll enjoy outdoor scenery on a three inch square of compressed video, so I make some raunchy jokes to compensate.

EPISODE 27:
Yardball vs. Slamball

Once I had answered all the other pertinent questions about the meaning of life, I decided to face some of the more mundane, yet timeless, quandaries.

Which is funner: yardball or slamball?

EPISODE 28:
Snow Day !!!!!

I'll be honest: this one may drag for some of you, but this is the first video I've ever published the same day it was made ... so relish the feeling of immediacy. Basically, there was a very interesting day of weather her today and ... well I don't want to spoil the surprise (like the title of the episode already did).

EPISODE 29:
Worst Episode Ever

Between the totally improvised soundtrack, which will drive you nuts if you focus on it, and the general lack of narrative agenda, this episode has almost literally nothing to offer. Enjoy!!!

EPISODE 30:
That's not a snow day; THIS is a snow day.

Monday morning was unforgettable. I'll let you see why, even though the title pretty much says it all. What tickles me is that I would have missed out on this if I had only rented the cabin for FIVE weeks.

EPISODE 31:
Forced sex, drugs, and rock n' roll.

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! Who likes making rape jokes? I do. If you don't, please forgive my bad taste. Be thankful that my monologue from last episode that concluded with Jesus raping away my sins was mercifully (cosmically?) not taped.

Sorry, this is the penultimate day at the cabin, so it was edited the following morning (during which I had to clear out all my stuff and clean the house). Thus, there's no sassy talkback.

How a Song Gets Pooped Out of My Brain

Thursday, the last full day at the cabin, I accidentally wrote a song in the morning. I decided to try to record it at night (normally it takes me a couple days to record a song .. but I strove to get it done in 3 or fewer takes per instrument). The process was a blast and it really took my mind off the sadness of winding down my cabin experience (even though that's the specific topic of the song).

Like the name suggests, this is the final chapter. I had to break it into two episodes because I got so chatty. (Remember, there were 6 episodes made out of the first night there).
